Our beautiful whale sharks turned up early this year. From mid March people were reporting sightings.
If you haven’t come across the whale sharks let me tell you – they are massive. They can grow up to 18 metres long. In fact fish do not come any bigger.
Despite the name, they are a fish rather than a whale. They are also very gentle creatures.
Ningaloo is one of the few places in the world where these big fish come in so close to shore.
Taking a dive on a whale shark tour is well worth it. The water is crystal clear and swimming beside these wonderful fish is an unforgettable experience.
