Can you help me chose the right house for my requirements?
Of course we can. We know the houses intimately with all their wonderful features and personalities. Give us a call and allow us to talk over with you what you want from your holiday accommodation. Then we will look at availability and get you started on the booking process.
Is the holiday home I choose on the website available for the dates I require?
A telephone call is perhaps the quickest means of ascertaining availability. Alternatively, complete and submit our on-line enquiry form, filling in all required information fields and we will reply ascertaining availability and tariff rate.
How do I make a booking?
If the property of your choice is available, we will then send you an email outlining how to make your booking deposit. The booking is not confirmed until a deposit is received. A tentative booking may be held for you for a maximum of 7 days upon request. Please fully read the Terms and Conditions as provided to you at time of booking. We will assume that you have fully read, understood and accept these Terms and Conditions when we receive your deposit for a confirmed booking. Your balance and bond requirements are essential to complete the booking and are required to be complete 28 days prior to your booking date.
How do I pay for my accommodation?
Payment can be made safely on-line with our PayPal facility. This is linked to the Bookings page. You can use your PayPal account should you have one or use your credit card (Visa card / MasterCard) on PayPal. There is a 2.5% fee applicable when you use this facility to cover charges incurred.
Alternatively you can directly deposit the funds into our Ningaloo Reef Holidays account, the details will be provided on the link we send to you. We also accept personal cheques and money orders.
Is linen included?
It will be specified on the details page of each property what linen is included.
All houses are provided with doonas and pillows, bed sheets and pillowcases, bath towels, bath mats and tea towels.
You will need to bring your own beach towels. Except in Mandu Villa where they are provided.
Are babies and toddlers included in the tariff rate?
Held babies generally are not charged for. Linen will not be provided for them if they have not been included as a paying guest. Once a child is ‘mobile’ it can be fair to assume that they will require equal use of the house facilities, including a bed and other amenities. They will therefore be considered a paying guest and will be charged for. Unless stated, a cot and highchair are not provided in the houses. Please enquire at time of booking.
What are the arrival and departure times?
Arrival time is generally 2pm. Departure time 10 am. Please advise us if your flights are outside of these times and we will endeavour to do our best in allowing you into your house earlier or to depart later if possible. This will depend on availability and our cleaning schedule.
Is cleaning included?
Professional cleaning of the property is included in your tariff and will be done on your departure, however you must leave the house in a clean and tidy condition with dishes washed and put away, sand swept up from floors, tables and kitchen benches wiped down, BBQ cleaned (if used), and the house of general neat appearance. An additional charge will apply if excess cleaning is required over and above the normal allotted time.
What is the minimum stay?
On most homes a 3 night minimum stay is required throughout the year unless specified. It does not include the periods listed below:
- Easter Holiday – 4 night stay
- Christmas/NY holiday break – 7 night stay
- School Holidays - 7 night stay
Bookings can be made for 3 days to 90 days maximum. You will have to vacate the property after 90 days. This is a requirement under our short term accommodation guidelines.
Is a bond required?
A bond payment is required on all bookings. This can be paid in two ways; either as a payable $200-$500 held funds deposit or via your credit card details to be held in lieu of the payable bond. This can be organised at any time during your booking process, no later than one week prior to your booking date.
As part of the Special Conditions of your booking, you are required to provide your credit card details on the understanding that Ningaloo Reef Holidays may debit your credit card for any excess cleaning or damage during the length of your stay up to a maximum of $1,000. This is without prejudice to the Owner/s of the property’s right to take legal action for any damage in excess of $1,000.
What if I wish to cancel my booking?
Once your booking has been confirmed (ie: we have accepted your deposit payment), your deposit is non refundable under any circumstances. If the booking is cancelled in writing more than 6 weeks prior to the commencement date of your arrival, you will be released from the liability of full payment. Once full payment of the tariff is receipted and confirmation details sent, the Property is reserved for the Guest for the specified dates whether or not occupation of the Property occurs.
Are pets allowed?
There is a selection of holiday homes listed on the website that are pet friendly. Please enquire and we will advise if these homes are available for the time you wish to stay. Conditions apply.
How do I get into my house?
Once full payment has been made for your accommodation, a receipt, key collection and confirmation details regarding your holiday house will be forwarded to you. Please confirm with us the most appropriate mobile phone number to contact you on for your key lock code.
What is your best price – can I get a discount?
The best price is displayed on the website. Tariff rates are fixed and not negotiable. Some special rates may apply at certain times of year and these will be posted on our website.
We are planning to celebrate a special occasion, is this OK?
All houses listed on the website are purely for holiday accommodation. It is not acceptable to use the house for the purposes of holding a party of any description or the house to be used as a function venue. The rights of neighbouring houses to enjoy their peace and privacy is to be respected, and all music is to be turned off by 10pm. No more people than the number confirmed on your Booking Form should be accommodated at any one time, and if complaints are lodged by outside parties regarding excessive noise or unruly behaviour, your booking will be immediately cancelled and further occupation of the property refused. No portion of unused accommodation stay will be refunded, and any fees associated will be debited immediately to your credit card.
Can we set up a tent or park a friend’s campervan?
Definitely not. Sufficient bedding is provided for the number of people booked to stay in the house. Absolutely no camping arrangements will be agreed upon, as there are caravan parks specifically set up nearby who cater exclusively for this purpose. The maximum number of people must not exceed the amount specified on the Booking Form, nor the number of beds provided for in the house.
Can I park my boat in the driveway or on the lawn at the house?
If you intend to bring a boat with you, please advise us when you are making your booking. Some houses will not be applicable to boat parking due to layout of property etc. We will endeavour to provide you with the best house possible to suit your needs.
